Taylor Corporation is looking for a Shipping Clerk in Jeffersonville IN.

To be considered for Taylor opportunities candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Perform quality control review of each order.
Check in orders.
Aggregate and package orders for shipment via parcel and LTL carriers.
Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels.
Maintain a clean work environment and equipment needed to ship orders on time.
Follow all safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
Record shipment data including weight charges and space availability.
Complete shipping reports.

Strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills.

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
Constantly operate machinery and handle products including print materials.
Frequently move throughout the facility.
Regularly lift push pull and/or carry up to 25 pounds or more.

Pick/Pack experience.
Experience using UPS and FedEx software.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant years of relevant experience specific skills level of education certifications professional licenses held and the location in which the applicant lives and/or performs the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporations total compensation and benefits package.
