We are seeking a team player to join our team as and Shipping & Receiving Specialist!
Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision the Shipping & Receiving Specialist will have the following key responsibilities:
- Lift unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices maintains record of received goods. Receives internal POs requested via email.
- Transfer material into storage locations.
- Pick and deliver Accessory work orders and raw material stock requisitions to various departments.
- Operates hand and powered material handling equipment.
- Load unload delivers materials chemicals and other products including 55-gallon drums. Stacks stores chemicals in chemical shed and maintains rotation of drums to ensure first in first out stock.
- Pick/pack prepare hazardous & nonhazardous domestic & international customer orders for final shipment to the customer.
- Cycle counting and physical inventory.
- Prepare Hazmat documentation.
- Coordinates with freight-forwarders/carrier activities

Base Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per year depending on experience.

The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individuals unique set of knowledge skills education experience and geographic location as well as internal equity.
Requirements:
MUST have forklift experience
High school or GED
2-4 years of related Shipping and Receiving experience
Experience with shipping domestic and international using third party systems (ex: FedEx UPS)
Computer skills using PC and radio frequency devices; understanding warehouse operations
Candidate needs to be able to stand lift (up to 50 pounds) bend/squat push/pull
Pallet jack experience
