Job summary:
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Shipping & Reveiving Material Handler located in Manchester Connecticut.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the Shipping & Reveiving Material Handler role involves
What a typical day looks like:
- Move materials to storage areas and production lines using forklifts pallet jacks hand trucks and other material-handling equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory including recording material locations and conducting cycle counts.
- Prepare materials and products for shipment.
- Accurately document material movements and inventory transactions according to company procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and maintain material-handling equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures company policies and applicable regulations.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Address and resolve issues related to shipping receiving and inventory handling.
- Collaborate with production warehouse quality and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Additional education in Logistics Supply Chain Operations or a related technical field is a plus.
- Previous warehouse manufacturing distribution or operations experience preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems such as SAP is preferred.
- Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements including cGMP environments is a plus.
