Shipping & Receiving Driver

Motive Workforce is seeking a Shipping & Receiving / Driver to support an advanced manufacturing operation in Long Beach serving the aerospace defense aviation and industrial sectors.

This position will handle daily shipping receiving material handling inventory support and local transportation activities. The role is responsible for accurately receiving packaging documenting storing and transporting materials and high-value aerospace and defense components.

The ideal candidate has hands-on shipping and receiving experience strong attention to detail and experience working in a manufacturing environment where material traceability quality and safety are important.

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Inspect package label stage and document incoming and outgoing materials.
• Verify part numbers purchase orders shipping documents and delivery information.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material traceability.
• Safely operate company vehicles for pickups and deliveries.
• Load unload and secure materials using forklifts pallet jacks carts and other material-handling equipment.
• Handle high-value aerospace and defense components with care.
• Communicate delivery schedules delays discrepancies and quality concerns.
• Maintain compliance with established safety quality AS9100 and ITAR requirements.
• Provide daily status updates and support process improvement initiatives.

• Valid Class C drivers license and clean driving record.
• Experience with shipping receiving inventory and material handling.
• Experience operating forklifts pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital documentation systems.
• Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment and follow established PPE and safety requirements.
• Must meet applicable requirements for work involving ITAR-controlled materials.
• Must be eligible to obtain a company-sponsored DoD security clearance.

• Previous shipping and receiving coordination or supervisory experience.
• Aerospace defense space or advanced manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ITAR requirements.
• Experience handling high-value or traceable manufactured components.
• Additive manufacturing experience is a plus.

Pay Range:$28$40 per hour

Actual compensation will depend on experience qualifications and relevant skills.
