NOVO Health Services is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator at ourDuBoisHealthcare Laundry facility.We are looking for someone who is confidentreliableandtimelywith excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow proper procedures for receivingverifyingand checking in goods to the warehouse and plant including scrubs.
- Verify divisional inventory accuracy.
- Verifying packing slips of received goods in SAGE (or company database) and enter receipt of goods information.
- Prepare linen for delivery to other locationsand/or packages
- Maintain a daily log of all shipments received and sent.
- Distribute receiving toappropriate departmentswithin plant & corporate offices.
- Maintain supply inventory in a neat and orderly fashion and complete weekly supply order.
- Complete weekly chemical inventory andassistin the handling of chemicals for soil.
- Verify that all chemicals received and stored in the healthcare facility/warehouse have theappropriate ChemicalHazard warning labels (in coordination with the Maintenance Chief).
- Receive bulk chemical deliveries for the DuBois facility and complete chemical safety training.
- Heavy liftingrequired including all linen balesmoving of 55-gallon chemical drums etc.
- Maintain the inventory and condition of supplies fordistribution.
- Complete linen inventory andmaintaininventoryspreadsheet.
- Maintain the organization of the storage trailers on the dock.
- Keepthe workarea clean and free of garbage; dispose of empty pallets or boxes; remove bales from soil room; responsible forupkeepingthe outside cage.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Operate in a safe manner adhering to all safety policies.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Must be able to workfrequentlyovertime if workloadrequires.
- Performs other various job duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
- High School GED or equivalent plus twoyears ofrelated experience.
- Knowledge of general arithmetic.
- Ability to speak and write in a clear understandable manner.
- Computer literacy withproficiencyin Microsoft Office and data entry.
- A valid drivers license with DOT physicalrequiredCDL license preferred.
- Forklift certificationisrequired.
- Ability to understanddetailedverbal or writteninstructions.
- Ability to work from blueprints sketches or specifications.
- Ability to accumulate and record data
