Shipping Lead

• Manage & oversee movements made by all forklift operators
• Communicate expectations to forklift drivers.
• Plan & implement tasks and ensure standard processes are being followed
• Daily problem solving
• Able to analyze situations and make decisions
• Ensure all drivers follow safety operating procedures and guidelines
• Conduct daily safety tailgates with operators
• Ensures all direct reports are filling our documentation that supports internal programs / processes
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Shipping dock management
• International loading capacities
• Daily inventory accuracy

Qualifications :

• Computer Literate
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong Leadership skills
• Shipping knowledge
• Completion of Forklift training program
• Material Handling knowledge

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

GED or high school diploma one to three years previous experience in Shipping/Receiving or any equivalent combination of education training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
