Job Summary
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating and processing incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy preparing shipping documentation tracking shipments and supporting production and customer delivery requirements. The ideal candidate is dependable detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We have 1st and 2nd Shifts available.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shipping & Receiving Operations
- Shipment Documentation & Label Creation
- Inventory Tracking & Record Maintenance
- Order Verification & Accuracy Checks
- Carrier Coordination & Shipment Scheduling
- Material Receiving & Processing
- Quality & Compliance Support
- Cross Department Coordination
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents packing slips and work orders.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required up to 50 pounds.
Preferred
- Previous shipping receiving warehouse logistics or manufacturing experience.
- Experience with UPS FedEx or other shipping software and carrier systems.
- Experience working with inventory management or ERP systems.
- Forklift experience or certification.
