Job Summary
Join a stable and growing manufacturing company with over 40 years of success supplying industrial fasteners and threaded products to customers throughout the region. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Assistant to support daily warehouse shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pack and ship customer orders to meet delivery schedules
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify packing slips
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
- Keep warehouse and work areas clean organized and safe
- Follow all company safety environmental and operational procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 years of warehouse shipping receiving or inventory experience
- Forklift experience preferred
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Self-motivated with good communication and time management skills
