Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Pronto Staffing is seeking an experienced shipping and receiving clerk for a busy local facility.

Job Summary

This role helps the warehouse run smoothly by handling inbound and outbound materials. You will accept record and track inventory while keeping accurate records. The ideal candidate will package items inspect goods and safely load or unload deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks parcel deliveries and freight shipments

• Inspect incoming shipments for damage or incorrect quantities

• Package label and prepare orders for shipping using pallets or crates

• Create shipping labels packing slips and bills of lading

• Move materials to proper storage locations and keep the dock area clean

• Use forklifts pallet jacks and hand trucks to transport goods safely

• Talk with drivers carriers and internal teams about shipment status

Requirements

• At least 3 years of shipping receiving or warehouse experience

• Active forklift certification

• Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and orders

• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills in English

• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude

Work Environment

• Regular standing and walking around the warehouse area

• Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds regularly

• Work is about 90% indoors and 10% outdoors

• Regular exposure to normal warehouse noise and vibrations
