Warehouse Associate

Location: Camden NJ

Compensation: $20/hr

Employment type: 1-year contract

Our client in Camden NJ is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join their team this is a 1-year Temporary assignment. The hours are Monday Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. This position offers $20 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives unpacks check and store merchandise/materials.
• Packs crates and ships products and materials.
• Prepares receiving or shipping reports and notes any shortages or damages.
• Operate material handling equipment i.e. hand cart flatbed pallet jack move or stack materials or products
• Handle disposal of cardboard plastics trash their proper containers.
• Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Excel Outlook etc.)

Essential Requirements:

• MUST have a minimum of 3 years experience with Shipping & Receiving
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word PowerPoint and Excel.
• Must be organized accurate thorough and able to monitor work for quality.
• Must be dependable able to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with others outside the team department and company.
