Basic Requirements:
- One year forklift experience required.
- Continuous sitting while operating forklift.
- Frequent repetitive use of hands and arms while operating the forklift.
- Frequent repetitive use of legs while operating the forklift.
- Occasional mounting and dismounting the forklift.
- Occasional pushing and pulling of carts and horses to clear pathways for the forklift.
- Occasional walking while assisting the Line Loader.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of objects (components) up to 50 pounds.
- Fast-paced plant operations environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret documents including but not limited to safety rules procedures manual and policy manual.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with Department Supervisor Lead Coworkers and other personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical methodical way while working with a sense of urgency.
- Able to read and follow a written set of procedures.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods to sit and talk or hear.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
- Safety glasses are required PPE.
