Position Summary:

This position will focus primarily on shipping and receiving responsibilities. Additional responsibilities for performing occasional light production duties to ensure on-time production and shipment of product while adhering to high standards of quality safety and customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks and moving finished goods/raw materials throughout facilities including the use of fork trucks.
  • Assist in tracking material inventory and performing inventory counts.
  • Store and retrieve raw materials finished goods and supplies in the warehouse.
  • Clean up spills of non-hazardous items.
  • Prepare and inspect drums/bins etc. for shipment.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facility through performance of general housekeeping duties.
  • Confirm paperwork is complete for all shipments and correct when needed.
  • Loading and unloading of overseas containers.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous shipping and receiving preferred
  • 1-2 years of related chemical manufacturing experience preferred

Physical Demands

  • Ability to move drums up to 500 pounds with mechanical equipment in a safe manner as directed.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
  • May be required to stand for long periods and walk great distances daily
  • Routinely required to use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • May be required to sit climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl and talk or hear
  • May be required to work in small spaces and high locations
