Job Description:
As a Shift Leader at SeoulSpice you will play a crucial role in supporting your General Manager in everything we do.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all operational standards and systems are upheld to provide the best support to the General Manager and the team.
- Collaborating with the General Manager to maintain a high level of food quality and customer service.
- Embracing and embodying our core values of Positivity Respect Dedication Teamwork and Growth.
- Supervising and guiding team members during your shifts to ensure smooth operations and upholding all food safety standards and regulations.
- Be respectful kind and professional with team members and customers at all times.
- Sharing the essence of Korean culture with every interaction from the food we serve to the service we provide.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma GED or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of restaurant management experience or 2 years of U.S. military service.
- Current ServSafe certification and all required manager-level certifications in accordance with local health department regulations (e.g. Food Protection Manager Certification).
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to lead by example and work collaboratively with team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to frequently bend reach and work with hands above shoulder level.
- Ability to occasionally sit squat kneel and perform other physical movements required for the role.
- Ability to safely operate and handle kitchen equipment and tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain ongoing interaction with team members and guests.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures including hot and cold conditions.
- Comfortable working near open flames hot surfaces and cooking equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in confined or limited spaces when necessary.
- Ability to remain alert attentive and focused on safety throughout the shift.
- May be required to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions on occasion.

Pay Transparency:
SeoulSpice is committed to pay transparency and complies with federal state and local laws on compensation pay transparency and pay equity. Total compensation includes $19-20 base pay bonus and/or tips PTO benefits. Total compensation may vary by location and is subject to change
