Job Summary
SCHEDULE: 40 hours Monday Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with flexibility as needed participates in an 24/7 On-Call rotation
Pays $77000 - $85000 annually DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set)
LOCATION: 363 Albany Street 444 Harrison 170 Morton St and Holy Family Inn as needed
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
The Shelter Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the team building and clinical aspects of triage intake assessment crisis intervention case assignment documentation support and interventions including group programing provided by assigned clinicians and case managers of the DMH MATCH contract. The Shelter Clinical Supervisor will build and inspire a team which works in partnership with the psychiatric services clinicians housing navigators and housing programs of the Inn and in the community to ensure continuity of care and integrated services which develop a pathway toward housing for all guests within a framework of trauma -informed care. The Shelter Clinical Supervisor will develop collaborative relationships with community providers to ensure appropriate discharges from medical psychiatric detoxification tertiary care facilities and the criminal justice system. The incumbent will provide on-call clinical support to the direct care staff of PSI.
While upholding the mission of respect and care to the Inns guests the Shelter Clinical Supervisor ensures that programs are succeeding in transitioning long-term homeless individuals into permanent housing and reducing lengths of shelter stays for homeless individuals through diversion rapid rehousing and other evidence-based strategies.
Working with the Shelter Director and other supervisors the Shelter Clinical Supervisor is responsible for implementing and maintaining all approved Pine Street Inn regulatory personnel facilities program operations financial and security policies protocols and procedures.
The Shelter Clinical Supervisor is responsible for managing and assessing the performance of direct reports toward achieving annual strategic goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
REQUIRED:
- Masters Degree & LICSW or LMHC
- Training in addictions co-occurring disorders and serious mental illness
- Training in trauma-informed care harm reduction and motivational interviewing
- Training in case management
- Training and successful application of crisis prevention and Intervention
PREFERRED:
- Training in HMIS homeless services and housing resources in Boston
- Training and successful application of Trauma - Informed Care practices
- Training and successful application of Motivational Interviewing
REQUIRED:
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience Knowledge of clinical assessment triage and intake services
- Knowledge of individual and group treatment Experience with teamwork
- Experience in developing individual care plans/treatment plans
- Experience in crisis intervention
- Organization skills Knowledge of trauma addictions co-occurring disorders mental illness and homelessness
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of evidence-based clinical programs
- Experience with change management
