Job Summary
Skillforce has teamed up with one of the largest mechanical industrial and commercial construction services providers to find an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead crews on a large commercial construction project in Mesa AZ. This is a direct hire/long term position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong background in commercial HVAC and sheet metal installation who thrives in a fast-paced high-production environment.
Location: Mesa AZ
Pay:$45$50/hour
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise sheet metal installation crews on a large commercial construction project.
- Coordinate daily work activities to ensure project milestones are met safely and efficiently.
- Manage crews of up to 30 sheet metal mechanics while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and company expectations.
- Promote and enforce all jobsite safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively with project management subcontractors and field personnel.
- Complete daily reports and provide progress updates as needed.
Qualifications
- 8 years of sheet metal experience on large commercial construction projects.
- Previous experience leading crews of up to 30 field employees.
- Proven ability to manage accelerated project schedules while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate crews and maintain a positive productive work environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
Current Schedule:
- MondayThursday: 10-hour shifts
- Friday & Saturday: 8-hour shifts
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Clean driving record required.
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Rigger Certification
- CPR / First Aid
- Fall Protection
- Aerial Lift Certification
