Set Up Trainee 2nd Shift

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor/Manufacturing Management the Set Up Trainee Associate is responsible for setup breakdown cleaning and preventive maintenance on the Encapsulation/Tablet machine and all ancillary equipment. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product :Assiston the complete changeovers set- ups and start -ups of Encapsulation/Tablet machine with the guidance of the set-up on the major and minor cleaning and sanitization of the Encapsulation/Tablet machine and all ancillary equipment with the guidance of the set-up knowledge measuring tools hand tools and with Preventative Maintenance on the Encapsulation/Tablet machine polisher deduster and powder transfer equipment as per the PM checklist as instructed by mechanic to solve mechanical issues as up powder transfer / the physical parameters following batch record and product appearance as per reference board during the startup the physical parameters following batch records during troubleshooting as proper tools to perform a specific duties as :Mechanically inclinedElectrical knowledge is helpful but not of Lock-out/Tag-outMust be able to read and write in comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job environment may be exposed to powders chemicals and allergens (peanuts tree nuts milk dairy eggs wheat gluten soy fish and shellfish).High school diploma or equivalency to work in a physically challenging environment including bending twisting and standing for up to 8 be able to lift be able to stand for 8 be able to work in a physically challenging be able to bend stretch kneel and proudly offer: Medical Dental Vision 401K with Company Match Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events Summer Picnic Festive Packages Holiday Celebrations and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011 Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Islands Top Workplaces Award 6 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
