Third Shift
10PM-6AM
- Perform machine set-ups and changeovers on production equipment to support manufacturing schedules and quality standards.
- Inspect and verify first-piece production using blueprints specifications gauges and measuring equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues making adjustments to maintain productivity and product quality.
- Train and support machine operators on set-up requirements work instructions and quality checks.
- Complete and maintain accurate production inspection and set-up documentation.
- Conduct equipment inspections and report any safety quality or maintenance concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.
Required Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of machine set-up machine operation maintenance tooling or relatedmanufacturing experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints work instructions and production documentation.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers gauges and other inspection equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues to maintain quality and productivity.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Machine set-up experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality inspection techniques.
Experience with tooling dies fixtures and preventive maintenance activities.
Forklift and/or overhead crane operation experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Experience training or supporting machine operators.
