Job Summary
Set Up Technician 1st Shift
You will play a key role in keeping production running smoothly by supporting the production floor responding to equipment repair and troubleshooting requests minimizing machine downtime and helping ensure continuous high-quality production.
Schedule Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Pay $17.00 $18.00 per hour based on experience
Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily production line setups accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and maintain presses and production equipment during the assigned shift.
- Verify that the correct blueprints gauges and components are on the production line according to the Shop Order Packet.
- Complete the first 5-part check to ensure the production line is properly set up.
- Perform all required changeovers and maintain setup kits with the correct tooling equipment and job instructions.
- Assist the Material Handler as needed to support production.
- Crosstrain in assembly and provide coverage when necessary.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area while following all company policies and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of related manufacturing or mechanical experience.
- Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented culturally diverse environment.
