The Utah State Capitol hosts over 4400 scheduled events annually and is seeking an Event Set Up Assistant for functions for Capitol Hill Complex Events. If you are a hardworking person who is punctual can function independently and pay close attention to detail this could be the position for you!

Key Responsibilities

The Set-Up Assistant must:

• be able to consistently lift 50 pounds.
• be physically capable of performing manual labor including lifting and positioning of office furniture and event equipment as well as the use of various tools.
• have availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
  

Qualifications

The best qualified person for this position will:

• have experience in a labor intensive field such as maintenance or warehouse work.
• be punctual for shifts and for scheduled events.
• be able to work independently and as part of a team.
