ServiceNow Senior Business Analyst

What You Will Do:

• Serve as a Senior Business Analyst supporting the Platforms - ServiceNow team.

• Partner with business stakeholders technical teams and cross-functional partners to gather analyze and document business requirements for ServiceNow-related initiatives.

• Translate business needs into clear user stories process flows acceptance criteria and functional specifications.

• Support the design implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions across the platform.

• Facilitate workshops interviews and working sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

• Analyze current-state and future-state processes to recommend efficient scalable solutions.

• Work closely with developers product owners and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.

• Assist with testing activities including test planning execution support and validation of delivered functionality.

• Maintain documentation and help ensure project deliverables are aligned with business goals and technical standards.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.

• A MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least THREE (3) years specializing in ServiceNow

• Proven experience working on several projects

• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies requirements gathering and process documentation.

• Experience creating user stories process flows use cases and acceptance criteria.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

• Location: Washington DC/Metro area highly preferred due to client location - up to 25% travel to Guidehouse or client office

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Direct experience with the ServiceNow platform and related modules.

• Familiarity with ITSM ITOM CMDB or other enterprise service management processes.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation or platform upgrade initiatives.

• Knowledge of testing UAT coordination or release management processes.

• Certification in Business Analysis Agile or ServiceNow-related disciplines.
