Role Summary

• We are seeking a mid-level ServiceNow platform engineer to build AI proof of concepts (AI POCs) that support marketing business development and sales pipeline use cases such as lead nurturing content intelligence and workflow automation.
• This role is ServiceNow-first with practical AI/GenAI integration as a core secondary focus. The emphasis is on rapid experimentation iteration and integration: building working prototypes connecting AI capabilities into ServiceNow workflows and making pragmatic tradeoffs rather than delivering polished end-user products from day one.
• What Youll Do
• Develop ServiceNow platform solutions that support marketing and sales workflows including:
• Backend platform logic
• Scripted REST APIs and integrations
• Scoped apps and platform-side automation
• Build and integrate AI-enabled POCs that connect external AI/GenAI capabilities into ServiceNow workflows such as:
• Workflow-based AI support for lead nurturing and engagement
• LLM-backed content generation classification summarization or recommendations
• Lightweight retrieval or grounding approaches using internal records knowledge or other relevant data
• Agentic workflows that support lead nurturing and engagement
• LLM backed content generation classification or summarization
• RAG based approaches for grounding AI responses in internal data
• Rapidly prototype ideas gather feedback from stakeholders and iterate
• Work independently in an exploratory environment where requirements evolve

Required Skills & Experience

Must have

• 3 5 years of hands on ServiceNow platform development
• Backend development and integrations
• REST APIs scripted REST platform scripting
• Applied experience integrating AI/GenAI capabilities into applications or workflows including one or more of:
• Calling or integrating external AI/LLM services
• Using AI outputs in workflow-based designs such as summarization classification recommendations or routing
• RAG or similar grounding approaches using internal records knowledge or data sources
• Deep expertise in specific AI frameworks is not required; practical experience integrating AI capabilities into working applications or ServiceNow workflows is more important.

• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to translate fuzzy goals into working POCs
• Self motivated curious and comfortable with ambiguity

• Broader data engineering or analytics background
• Front end or UI Builder experience in ServiceNow
