Role Summary

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing developing configuring and supporting ServiceNow platform capabilities with a strong focus on Azure cloud integrations. This role delivers scalable secure and automation-driven solutions across ITSM Service Catalog custom applications and cloud monitoring by integrating ServiceNow with Microsoft Azure services.

Key Responsibilities ServiceNow Development

Design develop configure and customize ServiceNow applications including ITSM Service Catalog workflows Flow Designer business rules client scripts UI policies and notifications
Build and maintain custom scoped applications using the ServiceNow App Engine
Develop and enhance Service Catalog items request workflows approvals and fulfillment processes
Perform unit testing support UAT and assist with production deployments
Troubleshoot and resolve defects performance issues and configuration gaps
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices coding standards security and governance
Maintain technical documentation for configurations integrations and customizations
Support platform upgrades patching and release impact analysis

Key Responsibilities Azure Integration

Design develop and support integrations between ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure using REST APIs Webhooks and IntegrationHub.
Integrate Azure Monitor Log Analytics and Azure Alerts with ServiceNow ITOM / Event Management
Configure MID Server-based secure connectivity where required
Integrate Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for user group and role-based access workflows
Develop automation workflows for Azure resource lifecycle management (intake provisioning change decommission)
Support cloud governance workflows across Azure subscriptions resource groups RBAC and policies
Troubleshoot Azure integration failures and ensure secure authentication and authorization
