Company Overview

Growing independent automotive dealer searching for more service writers to expand our service operation.

Automotive Service Writer Responsibilities:

  • Automotive writers must understand vehicles to assist customers and technicians.
  • Selling maintenance of vehicles to ensure proper performance
  • Assist and consult with other automotive service writers in working toward customer satisfaction.
  • The service writer should be able to interact with customers explaining any issues found with the vehicle as well as the options the customer has to rectify the problems found.

Automotive Service Writer Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Drivers License
  • Experience as an automotive technicianor service writer preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Positive can-do attitude with a willingness to help
  • Ability to work days nights and weekends as needed
  • Experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification helpful
  • Formal automotive training through vocational college technical school or OEM programs is preferred and we will train.
  • Team-oriented flexible and focused on maintaining the best customer service
  • Must have a working knowledge of automobiles
