Service Tire Installer Technician

Schedule: Full-time 7:00 am - 5:30 pm

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Tire Installer Technician to join our service this role you will specialize in tire maintenance replacement and repair ensuring our customers have a safe and smooth driving experience. The ideal candidate is energetic detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.

• Mount balance and install tires on customer and dealership vehicles safely and efficiently.

• Perform tire rotations flat tire repairs and computerized wheel balancing.

• Inspect tires for uneven wear damage and tread depth reporting findings to Service Advisors.

• Set tire pressures to manufacturer specifications and reset Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).

• Safely operate automotive lifts tire mounting machines and wheel balancers.

• Assist in organizing and maintaining the tire inventory and storage areas.

• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment following all shop safety protocols.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

• Physical ability to consistently lift and move heavy tires (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Excellent team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Eagerness to learn and follow specific repair procedures and specifications.

• Previous experience in tire installation or general automotive maintenance.

• Experience operating tire mounting and balancing equipment.

• Familiarity with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
