Young Ford of Ogden is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining various vehicles ensuring their optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately
- Keep detailed records of all service and repair actions
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the diagnosis and recommended repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure smooth workflow
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Experience as an automotive technician or similar role
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Certification from an accredited automotive tech program is a plus
