Service Technician Experience Required

Toyota of Deerfield Beach is a successful new car dealership with a highly rated service and parts department and we are growing fast. We are looking for technicians to join our team. Dealership experience is not required however the right candidate will have experience servicing and working on vehicles.

SUMMARY

The right candidate will be responsible for inspecting and servicing customer vehicles. This position requires the ability to perform minor services and repairs such as oil changes tire replacement brake repairs and alignments as well as the ability to perform minor diagnostic work.

Responsibilities:

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses maintains and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays

Requirements:

• High School diploma
• Must have experience as an auto Service Technician
• Must be willing to become ASE certified
• Great attitude
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state drivers license and automobile insurance.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Learns quickly
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ensures that customers cars are kept clean
• Maintain stall in an orderly and clean manner
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Math reading and computer skills
• Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
