Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing medium-heavy duty trucks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of truck systems and a proven capability in effective problem-solving and repair. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnosis:

o Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

o Interpret technical schematics and diagnostic results to determine appropriate repair solutions.

o Perform thorough system evaluations to identify root causes of malfunctions.

Repair and Maintenance:

o Execute precise repairs on all truck systems including powertrains electrical systems hydraulics and pneumatics.

o Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and services.

o Verify repair quality through comprehensive testing and validation.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in medium-heavy duty truck repair.

Demonstrated expertise in electrical/electronic system diagnostics.

Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting.

Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and software.

Valid drivers license with clean driving record.

Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various physical positions.

Preferred Qualifications:

ASE Certifications.

Familiarity with fleet maintenance operations.

This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules procedures practices training and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury accidents or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations incidents or occurrences to their Supervisor immediately.
