Job Summary

As a Service Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing departmental processes and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of service operations. You will directly manage dispatch personnel and serve as the critical liaison between management sales and field supervisors. You will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the supervision of employees.
Resolve interruptions that affect daily operations.
Monitor Mesa Dispatch email group to ensure all requests / emails are responded to in a timely manner.
Review open work orders with staff weekly.
Train and implement procedures with staff.
Manage the dispatch process to ensure all procedures are adhered to.
Review and approve timesheets weekly.
Monitor productive and overhead labor hours weekly.
Facilitate new hire orientation for field employees.
Work closely with Management Sales and Field Supervisors to resolve internal and external issues.
Ensure that approved proposals are booked in a timely and accurate manner.
Review work orders that are underperforming.
Submit warranty paperwork to the Operations and Branch Manager.
Recruit and interview candidates for open positions.
Conduct annual reviews.
Attend internal and external customer kick-off meetings.
Attend and present service information at monthly Operations Meeting.
Provide backup for staff when they are absent.
Resolve all invoice disputes.
Escalation point for the department.
Provide after-hours support.
Escalation point for purchase card reconciliations.

Qualifications

2 years supervisory experience
8 years front line dispatch experience
Effective communication skills (oral and written).
Computer skills including Microsoft 365 products.
Ability to organize and plan daily responsibilities effectively.
