Service Dispatcher Description

Our client is seeking a Service Dispatcher to join their team. This role serves as a key operational partner to the Service Manager supporting daily scheduling technician dispatching customer communication and service execution. You will play a critical role in coordinating repair work assigning technicians based on skill set and workload and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is organized proactive and able to think ahead when managing schedules technician capacity and customer needs. Success in this role requires strong communication problem-solving and customer service skills along with the ability to make real-time adjustments to keep service operations running smoothly. Service Dispatcher Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests and customer inquiries
Schedule and dispatch technicians based on skill set location workload and service priority
Build manage and optimize technician schedules to maximize efficiency and service capacity
Review service requests and estimates to determine technician assignments scheduling requirements and job needs
Coordinate with technicians throughout the day and make real-time scheduling adjustments as priorities change
Track work in progress and provide updates on outstanding service requests
Coordinate parts availability and help resolve scheduling or service-relates issues
Communicate appointment details service updates and scheduling changes to customers
Partner closely with the Service Manager on technician utilization workflow planning and service priorities
Maintain accurate work orders service records and scheduling information

Service Dispatcher Qualifications

2 years of dispatching scheduling service coordination or related experience required
Proven ability to build manage and adjust service routes and schedules required
Strong customer service skills required
