We are looking for an energetic dependable and guest-focused Restaurant Server to join our Food & Beverage team at DoubleTree by Hilton South Bend.

Our Servers play an important role in creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is friendly professional attentive and able to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment while working closely with the culinary and Food & Beverage teams.

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly professional service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter orders into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently while ensuring accuracy and proper presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items specials ingredients and available beverages.
• Make recommendations and use suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience.
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately.
• Pre-bus clear clean sanitize and reset tables as needed.
• Complete assigned opening closing and side-work duties.
• Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas.
• Work collaboratively with servers bartenders culinary team members and management.
• Follow all food safety sanitation alcohol service Hilton brand and company standards.
• Assist with banquet restaurant or other Food & Beverage operations as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Previous restaurant hotel or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Professional friendly and positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry trays and service items.
• Must meet applicable age and certification requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

This position requires flexible availability based on hotel business needs. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Morning evening and/or varying shifts may be scheduled.
