Server Operations team is building new technologies that automate the operational lifecycle of Oracles globally distributed cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a Principal level Technically focused Program Manager
to help make our Server Operations team even more successful.

The ideal candidate will be technically strong experienced in building automated operational systems and must have an understanding of large-scale distributed systems such as cloud-based environments.

As a Principal level Program Manager you will be responsible for iteratively scaling and improving complex systems with high scalability performance and security. You will partner with development and data center operations teams responsible for insuring the safety and security of Oracles Cloud Infrastructure.
You will provide technical leadership to a global team of engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:
4 years experience in a software development environment
Development experience in Python scripting languages and/or Codex.
Strong understanding of system concepts (networking storage compute)
Experience working with other cloud platform teams and accommodating requirements from those teams
(compute networking search store).
Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear concise
manner to all audiences
Comfortable in a collaborative agile development environment.
Good understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity and understanding of Reliability Engineering principles.
Experience with Jira Confluence Bit-Bucket
Understanding of cross-functional platform feature areas in cloud platforms.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90100 to $209500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
