Server Assistant

Schaffers Mill located in Truckee CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Server Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

• Assures that all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation.
• Possesses knowledge of the position of each diners chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
• Sets the outside line with underliner plates flatware doilies linen napkins and any other items needed for the delivery of food.
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each one with tickets to run food to tables.
• Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
• Ensures that each menu item is prepared to the exact specifications outlined on each ticket.
• Corrects menu items with the chef before delivering if they do not meet specifications on the ticket.
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes any place settings not in use.
• Clears dishes in front of guests upon completion of each course.
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave including but not limited to changing tablecloths brushing chairs repositioning chairs and replacing silverware glassware and napkins.
• Assists servers when needed.
• Keeps workstations well stocked with items and ingredients.
• Cleans workstations takes out trash and vacuums the dining room.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.
