Senior Warehouse Associate Bulk Driver Reach Truck Operator (#c709)

You will support inbound and outbound freight flow to ensure on-time accurate movement of goods for the client. Your work impacts operations safety and customer satisfaction on an onsite schedule at the LA Gateway Warehouse.

• Receive offload and load vehicles; check paperwork weigh measure and book in freight
• Operate reach trucks stand-up and sit-down forklifts and hand jacks for palletization and staging
• Prepare outbound loads: match paperwork label freight and prepare ULDs for shipment
• Accurately sign Bills of Lading and verify counts and damages
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness; perform inventory reporting and stock checks
• Execute site-specific procedures including bond checks DFT/security procedures and handling bonded import freight
• Follow SOPs and quality expectations; identify and recommend process improvements
• Assist with training new staff and help develop SOPs as business needs evolve

• Minimum 18 years old
• Good physical stamina; ability to stand/walk for long periods frequently bend/twist/reach and periodically lift up to 50 lbs
• Minimum 6 months of previous warehouse operations experience with the client or in a similar environment
• Ability to work flexible hours and meet established performance standards and KPIs
• Experience operating reach trucks and other warehouse equipment

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous external warehouse or freight forwarder experience
• Familiarity with Bills of Lading shipping manifests and delivery orders
• Ability to speak Spanish
