About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior VMware VCF Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure transformation initiative. This engagement is managed by Broadcom for one of the worlds leading financial institutions. The consultant will play a key role in managing Configuration Drift using SaltStack across VMware Cloud Foundation environments.

This is a long-term high-visibility project with opportunities to work on next-generation VMware technologies including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Configuration Drift Management using SaltStack (Salt).
• Design implement and maintain automation solutions for VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
• Manage and support both VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5.2.x and VCF 9.x deployments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure automation and configuration management issues.
• Collaborate with Broadcom and JPMC engineering teams to ensure platform stability and compliance.
• Follow enterprise best practices for infrastructure automation configuration management and operational excellence.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Hands-on expertise with VCF 9.x (highly preferred).
• Experience supporting VCF 5.2.x environments.
• Strong knowledge of SaltStack (Salt) for configuration management and automation.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure operations and VMware administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
