Compensation: Approximately $100/hr W2 (highly flexible based on experience)
Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

BNY is seeking a senior technology audit leader to join its Internal Audit organization as Senior Vice President Application Technology Audit. This role will lead complex technology audit initiatives across enterprise systems cybersecurity cloud platforms data governance and operational resiliency programs.

This is a highly visible leadership role suited for experienced IT audit and cybersecurity professionals with strong financial services backgrounds and executive-level stakeholder management experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute annual technology risk assessments and audit planning
Define audit scope testing strategy and execution plans
Lead complex IT and application technology audits
Identify risk and control gaps across enterprise technology environments
Manage audit issue discussions and remediation efforts with senior leadership
Oversee audit team performance development and delivery quality
Maintain strong relationships with technology and business stakeholders
Assess cybersecurity cloud resiliency and data governance controls
Ensure compliance with internal audit methodology and industry standards

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
12 15 years of IT audit cybersecurity or technology risk experience
Strong understanding of IT general controls cybersecurity cloud and resiliency principles
Proven experience leading enterprise technology audits
Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead teams and manage complex project workflows

Preferred Qualifications:
Financial services or banking industry experience strongly preferred
CISA CISSP CISM or related certifications
Big 4 consulting or large enterprise audit experience preferred
Masters degree is a plus
