Our client is agrowing state-of-the-art private veterinary practice in the Boston area seeking an experienced Senior Veterinarian to join and help lead its team. This is more than a clinical role it is a career defining opportunity for a seasoned DVM ready to take the next step into leadership.

The ideal candidatewill play a key role in building and mentoring a high-performing veterinary team. This position offers a clear path to Director of Operations with oversight of multiple facilities.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • 5 years of veterinarian experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
  • Licensed orEligible to obtain a Massachusetts State Veterinary License.
  • Strong surgical diagnostic and clinical communication skills.
  • Leadership mindset with a desire to grow into a Director of Operations role.

Scope of work:

  • Examine diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in companion animals primarily dogs and cats both medically and surgically.
  • Perform dental procedures and administer core vaccinations.
  • Counsel clients on preventive care and overall pet wellness.
  • Collaborate with referring veterinarians and work within our broader veterinary ecosystem.
  • Partner with the Regional Operations Manager and Hospital Manager to maintain high clinical standards and exceptional patient care.
  • Contribute to team culture making the workplace enjoyable for staff clients and patients alike.
  • Participate in continuing education seminars and professional development to stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine.
  • Manage time effectively and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
