We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher to lead comprehensive mixed-method research initiatives involving consumer IoT applications heavy equipment controls and technical B2B portal platforms. You will design and execute qualitative and quantitative studies recruit participants conduct interviews contextual inquiries usability testing surveys and field research. Your insights will directly influence product strategy and user-centered design across digital and physical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative UX research studies.
• Recruit and manage research participants for various study types.
• Conduct interviews contextual inquiries usability testing surveys diary studies and field research.
• Synthesize complex research findings into clear actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers UX Designers Engineers and other stakeholders.
• Manage research repositories and insight management tools such as Dovetail UserTesting Maze Qualtrics or UserZoom.
• Promote accessible and evidence-based design practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of UX research experience supporting digital products and/or connected hardware.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Experience conducting usability testing contextual inquiry interviews surveys diary studies and field research.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex research findings into clear recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional Product Engineering and Design teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience with research repositories and insight management tools (e.g. Dovetail UserTesting Maze Qualtrics UserZoom or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consumer IoT products industrial equipment interfaces or enterprise/B2B applications.
• Familiarity with hardware-software ecosystems and connected device experiences.
• Experience researching both technical and non-technical user populations.
