Job Description:

Role: Senior Terraform Engineer

Location: Remote

Senior Terraform Engineer who will lead the design development and governance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform in a cloud environment. This person will build and maintain reusable Terraform modules support production infrastructure changes integrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines and help establish best practices for safe scalable cloud automation. The role also serves as a technical leader mentoring engineers and participating in cloud architecture decisions.

This is a 6-month contract-to-full-time employee opportunity. The role is fully remote for the first 12 months after which the candidate will be required to relocate to Springfield MO and work on-site.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelors or Masters degree in IT or equivalent experience.
6 years of overall IT experience.
4 years of hands-on Terraform experience.
Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines.
4 years of cloud platform experience (GCP AWS or Azure).
Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.

Nice to Have

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
Terraform certifications.
Experience with Ansible Puppet or similar automation tools.
Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to architecture decisions.
