Pay Range:
$55.06 - $63.06 per hour
Location: Charlotte NC (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months position
Visa: USC GC GC-EAD & H4-EAD (Locals)
MOI: 2-round interview process: 1 round wedex / video call 2nd round in person.

Top Requirement:

  • Strong Teradata Development experience - MUST HAVE
  • Experience with Teradata 16.x SQL/BTEQ scripting and TPT
  • Strong experience in AML / Financial Crimes domain
  • Strong data sourcing data modeling and data provisioning experience
  • Experience with Cloudera CDP and Hadoop (Hive Impala PySpark Scala)
  • Experience with Informatica 10.x
  • Strong SQL performance tuning skills
  • 10 years of applicable experience

We are currently seeking a Data Engineer (Financial Crimes) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte NC.

This role is responsible for developing enhancing and maintaining applications within the Financial Crimes technology domain. The ideal candidate will design code test and debug programs working closely with business partners to define requirements and deliver solutions in an Agile environment. This position requires hands-on development with a focus on data sourcing modeling and provisioning for large-scale anti-money laundering (AML) initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop complex requirements for enhancing modifying and maintaining applications
  • Design code test debug and document programs and support activities
  • Work closely with business partners to define requirements for system applications
  • Provide insight and direction from a data perspective assess impacts on technology systems and participate in the full development lifecycle
  • Contribute to story refinement define requirements and estimate work
  • Set up and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Handle technical aspects of the application including change management maintenance and platform upgrades
  • Analyze present-state develop alternative future-state approaches and facilitate implementation
Requirements
  • Typically requires 10 years of applicable experience
  • BS/MS in Computer Science Engineering or any quantitative discipline
  • Experience in Teradata 16.x SQL/BTEQ scripting and TPT
  • Experience with Informatica 10.x
  • Proficiency in UNIX Shell scripting and Autosys
  • Experience with Cloudera CDP and Hadoop (Hive Impala PySpark Scala)
  • Strong data sourcing data modeling and data provisioning skills
  • Experience with data analysis and SQL performance tuning
  • Experience with SDLC Agile CI/CD tools (Jira Bitbucket Jenkins Artifactory Ansible)
  • Effective communication and listening skills
