Job Duties
Properly inspect utility poles by visually looking for holes and damage to identify work
Execute work orders to tend poles by drilling and filling holes with the proper material
Understand and practice all safety measures to ensure job site safety
Maintain prepare and operate all tools and equipment including hammers chainsaws chippers aerial lifts and more
Every day there is something new to do!
Qualifications
Love of the outdoors
Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training
Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
Required: valid drivers license
Preferred: Commercial Drivers License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
Preferred: pole test and treat experience or other related work
Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates if required by state law
Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist ISA Certified Tree Worker and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional
