Job Summary
Are you a scientist with a strong foundation in analytical chemistry or laboratory testing who is ready to extend your impact beyond the laboratory
As a Senior Technical Reviewer you will join NSFs growing Nutrition & Wellness Technical Leadership team. This role requires deep expertise in analytical chemistry laboratory testing and product formulation combined with the ability to apply scientific rigor in a customerfacing standard-driven environment.
Leveraging your scientific credibility and handson laboratory experience you will help customers regulators and industry stakeholders understand the science rigor and integrity behind NSFs testing and certification programs. You will play a critical role in the scientific development maintenance and technical leadership of NSF/ANSI Standard 173 certification for dietary supplements representing NSF as a trusted technical authority.
In addition this role contributes to thought leadership and technical content creationboth internally and externallyto advance program recognition scientific excellence and industry adoption.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for NSFs Nutrition & Wellness testing services and NSF/ANSI 173 certification programs ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements and providing scientific leadership in analytical chemistry contamination and adulterant testing
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients partners and internal stakeholders by translating complex scientific concepts laboratory capabilities and testing methodologies into clear customer-focused solutions and value propositions
- Represent NSF as a technical spokesperson through client engagements presentations conferences industry events standards committees and interactions with regulatory agencies sporting organizations and industry associations
- Collaborate with laboratory quality operations marketing and cross-functional teams to support service development external messaging innovation initiatives and the delivery of integrated certification and testing solutions
- Monitor emerging regulations industry trends best practices and new testing technologies to strengthen NSFs service offerings and technical expertise
- Perform technical reviews of products processes and certification requirements while supporting standards development activities and participating in NSF Joint Committees as needed
- Mentor and train team members provide technical guidance and communicate project updates recommendations and deliverables to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Analytical Chemistry
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the dietary supplement or academic industry
- In-depth dietary supplement manufacturing or formulary experience
- Masters or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field
- Commercial or client-facing experience
Strong public speaking experience with a technical or scientific focus
- Experience working with an accredited scheme or standard & familiarity with ISO17025 and ISO17065
Quality management system experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- In-depth dietary supplements manufacturing or formulary experience
- Masters or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related field

Strong public speaking experience with a technical or scientific focus
