Job Summary

Senior Tableau Developer
Contract: 6-12 months extension
Location: Austin TX (Onsite and Telework)

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Tableau Developer to design develop and maintain interactive dashboards reports and business intelligence solutions that support operational performance and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements integrate data from multiple sources and create impactful visualizations that improve reporting workflow visibility and organizational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

8 years of experience developing implementing and maintaining Tableau dashboards reports and data visualizations in an enterprise environment.
8 years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud including dashboard design data modeling calculations and performance tuning.
8 years of experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical reporting and analytics solutions.
Experience integrating and validating data from multiple enterprise systems and data warehouses.
Solid understanding of data visualization best practices KPI development and business intelligence reporting standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in a regulated or government environments is highly desirable.

Experience supporting workflow analysis process improvement and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

Design develop test and maintain Tableau dashboards reports and data visualizations.
Gather analyze and document business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
Integrate and validate data from multiple enterprise systems and databases.
Develop workflow metrics KPIs scorecards and performance monitoring dashboards.
Optimize dashboard performance data quality and overall user experience.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction transformation and analysis.
Troubleshoot and resolve reporting data and visualization issues.
Create technical and end-user documentation and provide knowledge transfer as needed.
Support ongoing enhancements maintenance and continuous improvement of business intelligence initiatives.
