The Role:
We are seeking a self-driven Senior SystemsEngineer to join our team in developing system requirements for user experiencerelated featuresspecific to Wireless Charging. In this role you will shape and enhance system behaviors that define the end-to-end user experience across GM vehicle platforms. You will work closely with software UX validation mobile back-office and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver a seamless reliable and intuitive user experience.
WhatYoullDo:
Define system and solution requirements interfaces states and performance targets within infotainment andcomputeorientedsystems.
Participate in the decomposition and allocation of product feature and system functionality to software andcomputeplatform teams.
Collaborate withcrossfunctionalpartners including software engineering validation UX mobile and Cloud Services
Assistin issue triagerootcauseanalysis and resolution during development and testing phases.
Support continuous improvement activities and help enhance system robustness and user experience.
Document system deliverablesmaintainrequirement traceability and support program milestones and readiness reviews.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Strong knowledge of systems and software architecture embedded software development and testing methodologies.
8 years of experience in systems engineering embedded software infotainment ora relateddevelopment domain.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Computer Software Mechatronics Engineering ora relatedfield.
Experience with requirements tools such as DOORS/DNG and Rhapsody (preferred).
Familiarity with Agile orSAFedevelopment methodologies.
Understanding ofCI/CD automation and continuous testing strategies.
Experience withServiceOrientedArchitecture (SOA) andBehaviorDrivenDevelopment (BDD).
Strong analytical andproblemsolvingskills with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across global teams and functional areas.
Demonstrated organizational agility and ability to work effectively incrossfunctionalenvironments.
What Will Give YouACompetitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience withModelBasedSystems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices (e.g. RhapsodySysML functional modeling behavioral diagrams).
Masters Degree in related field.
Creative use of AI tools and techniques tooptimizetraceability of deliverables and work output.
