AV is looking for a highly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will use your expertise in mission/software assurance system architecture and interface design. The selected candidate will ensure the reliability security and quality of hardware/software systems contribute to architectural decisions and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across MDS platforms.

Job Description:

• Participate in hardware/software engineering activities to include mission/software assurance code reviews static analysis testing and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

• Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable secure and maintainable.

• Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality security and performance.

• Ensure hardware/software engineering/assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.

• Provide technical guidance assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.

Required:

• Masters degree in a Science Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) field

• 12 years of related professional experience

• Active Secret clearance

• Extensive experience in hardware/software engineering processes

• Extensive experience in hardware/software assurance processes

• Experience assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering

• Professional communications and organization skills

Desired:

• MDA Experience

• Knowledge of Agile Engineering Design

• Knowledge of Digital Engineering Principals

• Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements products and capabilities) experience
