The Opportunity:

  • Serve as a senior technical authority for an Agile program delivering GEOINT capabilities to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

  • Own architecture across a multi-team Agile Release Train from strategy through implementation.

  • Partner with Government chief engineers and mission owners to drive long-range technical roadmaps.

  • Lead the architectural decisions that determine how mission-critical systems scale integrate and evolve.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead system architecture definition and governance across multiple Agile delivery teams.

  • Develop and maintain the program technical roadmap architectural runway and enabler backlog.

  • Chair design reviews and architecture boards; adjudicate cross-team technical decisions.

  • Direct analyses of alternatives and technology insertion assessments based on cost risk and mission impact.

  • Align program architecture with Government enterprise standards security requirements and interoperability mandates.

  • Partner with Product Management and the RTE during PI Planning to sequence architectural work.

  • Mentor architects and technical leads; raise engineering standards across the program.


Qualifications:
Required:

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain polygraph

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted).

  • 8 years of systems or software engineering experience with significant architecture leadership.

  • Demonstrated experience architecting large-scale distributed cloud-native systems.

  • Experience leading architecture across multiple development teams in an Agile orSAFeenvironment.

  • Strong command of integration patterns APIs and data architecture.

  • Excellent communication skills with senior Government and technical stakeholders.


Desired:

  • Experience with GEOINT systems or geospatial data architectures.

  • SAFefor Architects (ARCH) certification.

  • Prior experience supporting NGA or the Intelligence Community.
