What You Will Do:

The Senior Supervisor Disk Machining supervises entry and intermediate professional level employees or team leaders of production employees and sets day-to-day goals. The Senior Supervisor Disk Machining will manage cell productivity and guide scheduling sequencing of work and production innovation to optimize production.

• Meet business metrics goals as defined for each cell (Cost Quality Delivery Environmental Health and Safety CORE Customer Oriented Results and Excellence Employee Fulfillment)

• Ensures all quality related items for multiple cells or a complex cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards

• Implement root cause corrective actions in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are maintained Implement CORE and Lean Strategies to improve Quality reduce process time and reduce operational costs Ensure that all employees adhere to Environmental Health and Safety procedures

• Supervises activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations

• Manages cell performance and productivity for multiple cells or a complex cell to maximize productivity; identify and resolve process improvement opportunities to enhance quality decrease process cycle time and reduce operational costs

• Interfaces with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of service

• Coach employees in team development and motivational strategies

• Demonstrates commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures completing all required training and supporting all applicable committee activities

• Define and Implement plans to support the objectives of the business including Quality CORE Employee Fulfillment and Financial Metrics

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors Degree with 5 or more years of experience in an engineering machining manufacturing operations quality or closely related field OR an Associates degree and 7 or more years of experience in an engineering machining manufacturing operations quality or closely related field

• In absence of a degree High School Diploma/GED with 9 or more years of experience in an engineering manufacturing operations machining quality or closely related field

• Experience in MS Office applications specifically MS PowerPoint and Excel

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM field

• Machining experience

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
