Senior Strategy Director (Senior Consultant)

Introduction to role

This dynamic role combines strategy consulting & solution design all driving value realization forEvinova.

This is a hybrid position with a requirement to work in our Boston office three days a week.

Accountabilities

• Strategic Partnering:Serve as a trusted advisor toboth AZ and external organisationsacross clinical development clinical operations and medical. Shape digital strategies develop operating models and roadmaps that align with the development portfolio and individual assets.

• ProjectLeadership:Lead project / engagement teamsto develop& deliverdigital healthstrategies

• Digital Health Strategy & Solutioning: Define problem statements solution options vendor landscapes and selection criteria for digital solutions including patient recruitment remote datacollectionand monitoring ePRO/eCOA digital biomarkers and patient engagement platforms.

• AI leadership:Maintaina strong pulse on trends in AI tools transformingclinical developmentoperationsand processes bringing forward pragmatic value-led innovationsthat deliver value across portfolios.

• Business Case & Value Realization: Build robust business cases (benefits costs risks scenarios) and define measurable value frameworks (cycle-time reduction data quality patient retention site burden cost avoidance). Track and report realized value post-implementation.

• Protocol Development Support: Contribute to study protocol design where digital tools are used (e.g. endpoint rationale sensor selection sampling frequency feasibility burden data flows and risk management). Ensure alignment with therapeutic area strategy and regulatory expectations.

• Protocol Feasibility and Execution:Utilizetools to support clinical development and operations teams inoptimizingprotocols through AI-driven solutions to minimize cost accelerate timelines improvepatientand site experience and minimize environmental impact without compromising scientific quality.

• Implementation & Evaluation: Lead pilots and scaled implementations of digital health technologies including feasibility studies validation frameworks vendor due diligence interoperability planning data governance and change management.

Essential Skills/Experience

• Experience:8 years inClinical Development with a strongfocus onapplication ofdigital health withinhealthcare(clinical development and/or clinical operations or biomarker strategy).

• Minimum education: Bachelors degree in life sciences engineering data science or related field.

• AI in clinical development:Strong AI capabilities includingdemonstratedunderstanding of the role AI will play in drug discovery and development.

• Exceptional project management and communication skills includingdemonstratedability to build andmaintaintrusted relationships.

• Therapeutic Area Exposure: Experience with one or moretherapeutic area across OncologyCVRM Respiratory/ImmunologyInfectious Diseases and/or rare diseasewhere digital endpoints areemerging.

• Protocol Development: Hands-on involvement contributing to or reviewing clinical protocols and operational plans where digital tools inform endpoints assessments or data collection.

• Business Case & Value Realization:Capability in financialmodeling benefits quantification hypothesis-to-value tracking and post-implementation value realization reporting.

• ProjectAccountability:Demonstratedownership ofprojects in clinical development teams from initiation through delivery.

• Executive presence and leadership: Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior executive teams withdemonstratedability to lead and influence experienced professionals in a fast-paced highly matrixed work environment.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Advanced degree (MS MPH PhD PharmD MBA) is preferred.

• Digital Health Delivery: Proventrack recordevaluating and implementing digital health solutions (e.g. wearables sensors ePRO/eCOA DHT-enabled endpoints trial delivery capabilities patient apps/portals) including regulatory knowledge and technical fluency.

• Therapeutic Area Exposure: Experience withtwoor moretherapeutic area across OncologyCVRM Respiratory/ImmunologyInfectious Diseases and/or rare diseasewhere digital endpoints areemerging.

• Consulting Experience:Experience in pharmaceutical / healthcare consulting either as part of a dedicated consulting organisation (egmanagement consulting firm) or an internal pharmaceutical company consulting function.

• Technical Landscape Expertise: Familiarity witheCOA sensor/wearable trial design and delivery vendors; experience running RFPs and technical due diligence.

• Validation & Qualification: Experience with analytical/clinical validation of digital measures human factors engineering and usability studies.

• Product Mindset: Background in product management for digital tools or platforms used in trials or patient support.

• Global Programs: Delivery experience across multi-country studies with an understanding of site/patient variability and localization needs.

• Regulatory experience: Understanding of global regulatory landscape and experience in global regulatory interactions and submissions

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from233586.4 to 350379.6 positions offer eligibility for various incentivesan opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.
