Job Description:

At BBDO Chicago the Senior Strategic Planner is someone who can help turn innovative thinking into inspired creative that solves real business problems. This individual should be capable of encouraging teams to question assumptions and re-shape assignments into unique category challenging propositions. We want people who work to improve the output and who are always working on the next big thing.

Responsibilities:

Create inspiring strategies and is able to pull the strategy through the entire

creative process from start to finish

Display a proven record of innovative ideas approaches and final work product

Serve as a resource for creative ideas on brand and consumer issues

Can easily identify potential hurdles for the business and take the lead on solving them

Serve as lead on multiple projects and may have direct reports

Forge strong relationships internally with other departments and with mid-level

marketing clients

Earn the trust and respect of team members through understanding of consumer

issues leveraging insights writing briefs and conducting briefings

Requirements:

3 years of relevant experience

Specialized skillset/experience in market research and data analysis

Bachelors degree and/or relevant experience required

$90000 - $115000

Omnicoms policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time and many of our agencies as well as Omnicoms corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
