Senior Staff Accountant

Position Summary

Delva Tool & Machine is seeking aSenior Staff Accountantwho thrives in a fast-paced environment understands manufacturing operations and enjoys partnering with leadership to provide accurate financial information that drives business decisions. This position pays a salary between $100000-$120000/year depending on experience.

What Youll Do

• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Support accounts payable accounts receivable and cash management functions
• Assist with financial reporting budgeting forecasting and management reporting
• Support multi-entity accounting and intercompany reconciliations
• Assist with audit preparation and external reporting requirements
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls across the accounting function
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement more efficient accounting workflows
• Partner with operations and leadership to ensure financial data accurately reflects manufacturing activity

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• 6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing industrial aerospace defense or job-costing environment
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting reconciliations financial reporting and month-end close
• Experience working within a large ERP system
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving abilities

• NetSuite ERP experience
• Experience supporting multi-entity organizations
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience
• Inventory accounting experience
• Experience supporting external audits
• CPA CMA or other professional accounting certification

• Your accounting experience is primarily limited to QuickBooks-based bookkeeping environments
• You have not worked within a manufacturing production distribution or job-costing environment
• You prefer highly repetitive transactional accounting work with limited ownership
