Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Infrastrastructure Systems Engineer (CISE) to join our Rochester NY team. The ideal candidate will have system administration expertise in Amazon Web Service (AWS) core services managing and optimizing Linux systems as well as infrastructure automation. This role requires a hands-on professional with a robust understanding of security and risk management and system monitoring. The candidate must have a proven track record of designing and implementing solutions that comply with security policies maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment.

Essential Functions:

• Administer support and optimize cloud-based infrastructure within Amazon Web Services (AWS) including services such as:
  • EC2
  • S3
  • IAM
  • VPC
  • RDS
  • CloudWatch
  • Lambda
• Configure monitor maintain and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using tools such as:
  • CloudFormation
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
• Installation of monitoring agents STIGing and Hardening AWS AMIs
• Monitor system performance and resource usage identify potential problems and implement solutions to maintain system resilience and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Clearance: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly)
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 Required Professional Certifications: CCNA- Security Security CE or higher certification

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience working with continuous integration build management and automated test frameworks.
• Experience utilizing virtualization technologies and backup solutions.
• Experience in a dynamic fast-paced team-oriented environment.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York state is $92500-$171500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
